Wakefield A.F.C. is delighted to announce that the partnership with Featherstone Rovers has become even stronger with the club now launching “Wakefield A.F.C. Club Lottery” in partnership with The Featherstone & District Community Draw, with 50% of the proceeds going to Wakefield A.F.C. and 50% to Featherstone Rovers.
The Featherstone & District Community Draw offers cash prizes and prizes sourced from businesses in the community. Local businesses Bennett’s Butchers, The Cock and Crown, Red Beck Café, featherstone Rovers Superstore and The Winter Seam, have all already committed prizes that can be won on a weekly basis.
The club are pleased to include a £10 gift voucher into the weekly draw that can be used in-store or online.
Commercial Manager, Adam Sweeney said: “This is a great initiative and another step in the right direction for the club. It not only enables us to generate some funds for the club on a monthly basis from the support of our fans, but it also gives the fans a chance of winning some great prizes each week. Nadine Burgess is doing a fantastic job at Featherstone and I’m sure these weekly prizes will increase as time goes on”.
Featherstone Rovers Business Development Manager, Nadine Burgess added: “Featherstone Rovers are delighted to welcome wakefield a.f.c. into the featherstone & district community draw as a partner. we are delighted to have a draw that not only provides cash prizes, but a draw that includes local businesses too, and we can now work with wakefield a.f.c. to expand the lottery to benefit both clubs”.
Winners will be announced every Tuesday via Featherstone Rovers’ Social Media channels and will also be shared via Wakefield AFC’s.
